After My Procedure

After your procedure, you will be moved to our fully-equipped recovery area, where you will remain under close observation by the anesthesiologist and our recovery area nurses until you are ready to go home. Although the length of post procedure stay varies according to the type of procedure and your physician's instructions, most patients are discharged 1 to 2 hours after their procedure.

Please be aware that the Surgery Center does NOT provide crutches, walkers, wheel-chairs or other ambulation devices. If your physician has ordered one of these for you, you need to arrange to purchase them before you come in for surgery. The staff at your physicians office can usually recommend a place for you to purchase or lease these devices.
